PHYSICAL THERAPY ASSISTANT - NATIONWIDE - FULL TIME OR PART TIME

Do you want to help older adults move better, get stronger, and stay independent? We're hiring Physical Therapist Assistants to carry out treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Your hands-on care will make a real difference in your patients' daily lives.

What We're Looking For
  • Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • Current state license or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • A compassionate, patient-centered approach to care

What You'll Do
  • Assist the Physical Therapist in evaluating patients and developing individualized treatment plans
  • Carry out therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to improve strength, mobility, range of motion, and balance
  • Monitor and document patient progress, and report changes to the Physical Therapist
  • Teach patients and families exercises and home techniques that support continued progress
  • Coordinate care with the Physical Therapist and other members of the healthcare team
  • Keep accurate, timely patient documentation
  • Follow facility policies, safety and infection control protocols, and state and federal regulations
